It was a great pleasure to have the opportunity to talk about my research at the Advanced Imaging Workshop (event link). The goal of the event was to learn more about access to Glasgow’s imaging facilities and potential opportunities for collaboration. Very impressive to see how many imaging facilities there are in Glasgow!
About the event
Are you interested in using scanning systems such as MRI, PET, CT and ultrasound for your translational project? Join our Advanced Imaging Workshop to find out more about cutting-edge medical imaging techniques, case studies of their applications, and ways you can access them to progress your clinical research to the next level. This Wellcome Trust-funded initiative has been organised in collaboration between the Translational Research Initiative and the Living Laboratory for Precision Medicine, and is targeted towards all researchers currently working in translational projects aiming to evolve their research by involving advanced imaging modalities.
The workshop covered the following themes:
- Ultra-high resolution 7T MRI
- PET/CT imaging
- MEG 4D neuroimaging
- Medical Ultrasound Imaging
- Preclinical Imaging
- + my work 🙂
